The Grace Necklace - Pretty in Pink by Lorie Sigua

Pinks evoke love, poise, affection, gentleness, and soft feminine emotions. It induces sweetness, decorum, good manners and stirs up images of Mama Mary. That’s why pink – is not my favorite color.
I am more of a cross between the rigid business-like woman slash emancipated flower child (so, I’m not certain what picture that creates) who gave the cold shoulders to prom nights and “King and Queen of Hearts” back in high school. I am a fan of blacks, grays, earth, sun, moon and the dangling, and other blings that may call forth visions of the Native American Indian head-dress or Esmeralda.
I only opened the doors to pink just recently when I saw The Grace Necklace being offered at Artchestra. The metallic pink pendant is of wrapped spiral, which has a single sterling silver bead dwelling at the center. The pendant is strung on crème-colored leather, but may also be used alternately with basic sterling silver chain.
Actually, I am still pondering on why I found the necklace elegant and appealing despite that it’s pink. Maybe, it’s because it’s metallic that I did not find it cheesy. Or maybe, you can help me find it out why by checking it out here.
